I wrote this poem to recite at my father’s memorial service. I was having a very difficult time coming to terms with the loss of my father who was taken from us very suddenly. I find one of the best ways to deal with suffering a great loss is to create something new. When something of beauty can be inspired and created amidst such great sorrow it serves as a reminder that things will get better. A man needs to love and to hate at the same moment, to laugh and cry with the same eyes, with the same hands to throw stones and to gather them, to make love in war and war in love. And to hate and forgive and remember and forget, to arrange and confuse, to eat and to digest. what history. takes years and years to do. You can tell a good man from his laugh.

“One can know a man from his laugh, and if you like a man’s laugh before you know anything of him, you may confidently say that he is a good man.” That poetry has fallen out of favor among men in the 21st century is a recent trend rather than the norm.

To help remedy this, we have compiled a list of 20 classic poems that every man should read. Spanning the past two thousand years, the poems on this list represent some of the best works of poetry ever composed. This poem is about a special man in my life. He’s my inspiration for writing this poem. He’s the thought that makes me smile and he’s the rhythm that makes my heart beat. I wanted to share a piece of my heart on how beautiful the feeling is of when love begins and being able to share that love with that right person A man goes to work for the sake of saying I have a job, but a good man goes to work knowing that materialistic things mean nothing without someone to enjoy it with. A man has to prove his worth, but a good man knows his worth and is confident knowing that his woman knows his worth.

A good man never dies– In worthy deed and prayer And helpful hands, and honest eyes, If smiles or tears be there: Who lives for you and me– Lives for the world he tries To help–he lives eternally. A good man never dies. II Who lives to bravely take His share of toil and stress, And, for his weaker fellows’ sake, Makes every burden less,– A Good Man – Poem by James Whitcomb Riley. I. A good man never dies–. In worthy deed and prayer. And helpful hands, and honest eyes, If smiles or tears be there: Who lives for you and me–. Lives for the world he tries.
